From conducting stakeholder interviews and surveys, we were able to identify key metrics that would hopefully narrow down what would actually make a difference in improving the invoice approval process.
Based on our research findings, we started sketching out and wireframing concepts focusing on simplicity, efficiency, and ease of use. The intention was for users to be presented with an intuitive dashboard displaying key metrics such as pending invoices, payment status, and conspicuous actions which would expedite their approvals. Throughout the design process, we conducted usability testing. Iterative testing allowed us to fine-tune the user interface, optimize workflows, and address any usability issues effectively.
Lastly, recognizing the mobile nature of trucking operations, we ensured that the client portal is fully responsive and accessible on smartphones and tablets. Carriers can submit invoices on the go, without being tied to a desktop.
